What We Do
Our Purpose At Mya's Mission
Dedicated to honoring Mya's legacy, Mya's Mission provides support to those impacted by substance use and mental health disorders. Through grants for individuals seeking recovery, educational speaking engagements on the dangers of fentanyl, and support for first responders and Veterans, we strive to make a meaningful difference. Additionally, we give back to local children's charities, reinforcing Mya's love for her community. Through these efforts, we create a lasting impact, turning tragedy into a mission of compassion, education, and recovery.
Support For Our Heroes

Shannon Reisnour, President of Mya's Mission, is a dedicated paramedic with over 20 years of experience serving both rural and urban communities in North Dakota. Throughout her career, she has witnessed firsthand the immense challenges faced by first responders and veterans—many of whom have endured traumatic situations that can lead to unhealthy coping mechanisms, including substance use disorder. Recognizing this critical need, Mya's Mission not only provides financial assistance for those seeking recovery but also offers resources and support tailored specifically for first responders and veterans. Our goal is to ensure that those who dedicate their lives to helping others receive the care and assistance they deserve.
