Shannon Reisnour, President of Mya's Mission, is a dedicated paramedic with over 20 years of experience serving both rural and urban communities in North Dakota. Throughout her career, she has witnessed firsthand the immense challenges faced by first responders and veterans—many of whom have endured traumatic situations that can lead to unhealthy coping mechanisms, including substance use disorder. Recognizing this critical need, Mya's Mission not only provides financial assistance for those seeking recovery but also offers resources and support tailored specifically for first responders and veterans.
